Ruth Krehbiel, has been with IWC since we started in 1987. She received her BS from the U of I in Food Science and still enjoys learning about food and nutrition. Her parents immigrated from Germany so she enjoys speaking a little German. She loves meeting internationals, traveling, spending time with her family and swimming. She and her husband David have 7 children & 5 grand-children.

Gwynne McQueen has been with IWC since 1988. She has her degree in Recreational Therapy, and has had many years experience caring for pre-school children. She loves to play her violin, attend an early morning swim-exercise class and enjoy time with her husband Michael, her 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

Joanne Carroll first joined IWC as our childcare provider while her husband studied for his PhD -then she started volunteering with the group and has never left. She is a full time piano teacher and is mother to two adorable young children - Nathan & Naomi. If she has a little free time - she and her husband Sam enjoy playing frisbee golf.
